1. FUNCTIONS
The Faculty advises the Rector on matters related to education, training, and scientific research within the disciplines and majors under its management. It directly carries out teaching, research, knowledge enhancement, academic management, and asset supervision. It also oversees student-related matters within its assigned responsibilities and authority.
The Faculty of Accounting – Finance – Banking performs the following functions in relation to training and scientific research:

Exercise academic management functions for undergraduate and master’s programs in the fields of Business Administration, specifically in Accounting and Finance – Banking.

Promote and organize scientific research activities among faculty members and students, aiming to foster research capacity, enhance academic qualifications, and encourage scientific involvement among lecturers, staff, and students.

Collaborate with the University in implementing student activity programs and initiatives that align with the University's objectives. These activities aim to create a dynamic learning environment and support academic achievement through student-led movements.
2. TASKS
Based on the Faculty’s defined functions, the specific tasks and responsibilities include:

Assign lecturers to teach, supervise theses and research projects in accordance with the academic calendar issued by the Office of Academic Affairs.

Prepare contracts for external lecturers in compliance with University regulations (ensuring proper specialization and actual teaching needs).

Manage and track teaching hours, research hours, and time spent supervising theses and research projects.

Maintain records of invited lecturers, including verified copies of scientific resumes, degrees, and necessary certificates.

Organize supplementary courses (make-up classes) as regulated by the University.

Coordinate end-of-semester examinations according to the University’s academic schedule.

Establish thesis assessment committees and assign lecturers to evaluate graduation reports in accordance with regulations.

Process internship placements for students at enterprises or practical training institutions.

Assign and remind lecturers to participate in scientific research projects as required.

Assign academic departments to develop and archive lecture notes and teaching materials.

Conduct annual class observations and evaluations of teaching quality in accordance with University policies.

Develop program learning outcomes and training curricula aligned with societal needs (if necessary), and submit to the University’s Scientific Council for approval.

In cases of curriculum changes between cohorts, the Faculty must develop replacement courses or propose exemption lists for approval by the University’s Scientific Council.

Formulate plans for professional development and training for permanent faculty members.

The Faculty is responsible for proposing the recruitment of full-time or long-term contract lecturers (including retirees) to ensure compliance with staffing standards for program establishment and training scale, as stipulated by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Participate in orientation sessions for new students and graduation meetings for graduating cohorts.

Engage in the development and registration of new academic programs.

Participate in student recruitment and admissions consulting activities.
-
Manage and ensure the proper use of equipment and assets assigned to the Faculty.
